Hi! I’m Amy

I’m the Founder of The Simple Ops Co. and resident Online Business Manager. I help transform the backend of small businesses so they can be more streamlined, profitable and enjoyable to run.

It all started back in….

….2016. I was a PA to a Partner at Goldman Sachs in London. It was totally high pressured and intense and even though I thrived on getting the work done, I knew I needed more freedom and balance in my day.

I started googling ‘work from home jobs’ and ‘stop working in an office’ and the wheels started turning. What was this amazing online world I had no idea existed?!

I'd had enough of the daily grind, and an entrepreneurial fire was beginning to smoulder inside me. So I read Marianne Cantwell’s wonderful ‘How to be a free-range human’ and began my quest to find something I could do outside of the office.

I came across an article on how to set up as a VA and that was that. I went on to work with countless clients, becoming known as the VA who got shit done and who could turn her hand to pretty much any tech tool.

After a while I realised that I had way more to offer.

I love to lead, to pull everything apart and put it back together in a coherent order, and I love all things strategy. I moved into an OBM role and never looked back (and my clients haven’t either!)

I’ve built a team of absolute superstar VAs, all handpicked by yours truly, and together we’re on a mission to make our clients’ lives easier.

I truly love what I do. I get to work as wing-woman to incredible business owners who are passionate about what they do. I get to do what I do best and leave my clients to their own zone of genius.

The Simple Ops Co. was born when I saw just how many businesses are in dire need of support.
